SNIPER D.M.S manages documents and folders very similar to a file system on your hard disk. But it offers much more when it comes to additional meta data like the author, keywords, a description, and arbitrary attributes.
Each document has at least one version which is the actual content of the document. Any update will create a new version, while keeping all the old ones.
- To Create Folders:
- Navigate to Add Subfolder from the main bar
- After Creating the folder and from the main screen click on the created folder name and then Edit access from this screen you can mange the privilege on this folder
- To Create Document:
- From the main screen select the folder you want to upload your file in
- Then from the main bar navigate to Add document you can see here that you have many option we will explain the important one
- Name: the name of the document on the system
- Keywords: More Info
- Categories: More Info
- Categories: More Info
- Workflow: to assign the file to one of the created workflows More Info About The Workflow
